Alternative Transportation to ATL

Car services
Want to get to the airport in style? Hiring a car service is the best way to do it. MARTA

Picking Up At ATL
If you’re picking someone up at the Atlanta airport but they’re waiting for their bags or their flight has been delayed, the best place to wait is at the Cellphone Lot. This lot is a little farther from the airport and offers free parking for attended vehicles. You can park your car here until you get that “I’m out!” text.

Inside ATL
As the world’s busiest airport, you’d think that there’s a lot of amenities in the Hartsfield Jackson Airport to keep travelers entertained. You’d be right in thinking that. ATL airport offers a varied selection of dining options, from grab-and-go to upscale restaurants. Concourse B is also home to the Minute Suites, where you can pay to take a nap or use the little room as an office during a long layover. There’s high-speed Wi-Fi, white noise generators and a desk you can work at. There’s also an XpressSpa at the airport if a nap isn’t enough and you need to get the airplane kinks out of your neck or if you need a last-minute manicure.

If you’re yearning to take a walk through a forest, the Atlanta airport has a major art installation between Concourse A and Concourse B. The walkway is lit by an illuminated ceiling covered with aluminum leaves, and you can hear bird sounds if you listen closely. Other notable art around the airport include the three mosaics in Concourse A, Concourse B and Concourse C.
