Offsite parking lots are a good option for reducing cost and traffic congestion. Take a look at our favorite offsite deals for the Atlanta airport in the Parking Lot Options.
Cellphone Lot
There is a Cellphone Lot at the Atlanta airport for those who are looking to pick up friends and family curbside. Strict parking enforcements make it impossible to park and wait for travelers to come curbside, and this lot is the best alternative to paying for parking. Your vehicle must be supervised at all times, but it’s free of charge.
EV Charging Stations
Parking your electric car at the Atlanta airport? There’s electric vehicle charging stations in the North and South daily lots as well as in the international hourly and park-ride lots. The standard rates for parking do apply when you park in these lots.
If you’re planning to keep your car at the Atlanta airport overnight or even longer while you’re away on a trip, there are a few options at the airport. The Park-Ride lots offer the cheapest daily rates at the airport, with the Economy lots coming in second. The Park-Ride lots are not directly connected to the airport terminal, so you will have to take a shuttle to get to your terminal.
Looking for something a little less pricey? Off-site parking lots tailor their services to meet Atlanta airport long term parking needs as well as short stay needs. Similar to the airport’s Park-Ride lots, there is typically a free shuttle that will take you straight to your terminal from these off-site lots. Because they’re not located directly at the airport, the prices will be cheaper for most of the lots only a few miles away.
Don’t know which lot to choose? There are customer reviews and ratings provided for each lot so you know exactly which lot works for your needs. Our list of the best parking for ATL can be found in the Airport Parking Lot Options area.
Bundle packages
Not everyone lives within an easy driving distance from the Atlanta airport, and sometimes the drive to the airport can be just as exhausting as the airplane ride. That’s why “park and fly” packages have grown in popularity over the years for traveling families, businesspeople, and retirees. ATL airports with parking create budget bundles for people who are driving in from out of town to catch a flight.
The packages, also known as “parksleepfly” bundles, offer one night’s stay at the hotel as well as overnight parking. This gives travelers the chance to catch up on any last-minute errands, emails or sleep before a flight. The packages also offer the option to spend the night at the hotel after a flight back, breaking up the journey. This is especially useful for those who fly back late at night and still have a long drive ahead of them. Most of these packages come with shuttles to the ATL airport as well, relieving the stress of navigating airport traffic.
ParkSleepFly finds different bundles and makes comparing different hotels easy. Below are some of our customer favorites:
